When Irvine freaks out in the clock tower though, all I could think of was the RP fic I had with a friend where Squall calms Irvine down in a similar situation by domming him.
This is beautiful. As are the cheering crowds at Edea's introduction going 'heck yeah! absolutely do murder our president in front of us and announce your reign of terror! this is great!'
