I posted this on Tumblr with the preface that this is the kind of post I used to make on livejournal, then I was like, hmm, maybe this post should be on dreamwidth! But I'm too lazy to format it again so I just copy pasted, sorry for the formatting issues. Also there's likely missing context from the random things I've been talking about on tumblr so maybe this afternoon when I'm home (bc posting to dw from a phone is a nightmare) I will catch up with some other things that ought to go here.
