love how much Squall accessorizes and enjoys his rings and belts and whatever else he's got going on. This guy wakes up in the morning, suffers his existential angst about leadership and responsibility and war and peace, then does up his five belts and puts on his crop top fur lined jacket and his rings and necklaces and goes to battle.

Having not played it, my thought is she had a crush and is trying to save face/explain it away, quite likely to herself as well. Cos yeah that's very weird.
